Taylor Uzzell, ChFC, CLU, has been in the employee benefit business for more than 35 years. He is a principal at Benefit Services and Design, Inc. Taylor’s professional designations include ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) and CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter). He is a member of the North Carolina Association of Health Underwriters. He is a former president of Kiwanis Club of Sanford and was instrumental in establishing the Kiwanis Family Park. Taylor helped organize the Kiwanis Club of Lee County in 1988, serving as its first president. He was recognized as Kiwanian of the Year in 1983, Small Business Person of the Year in 1992 and Sanford Herald Citizen of the Year in 1995. He is a member of First Baptist Church, is married to Susan and has 1 daughter, Carrie. He is also a proud grandfather.
Tom Snell, JD, CLU, ChFC, RHU, REBC, LUTC Fellow, is a principal at Benefit Services and Design, Inc. A graduate of Wake Forest University and NCCU School of Law, Tom has over 26 years experience in insurance and employee benefits. Tom was the marketing director of the NC office for Wells Fargo TPA Services (formerly J. Smith Lanier & Co. Administrators), a third party administrator which administers large group self-funded benefit plans. He has been involved in the design, implementation and administration of a multitude of flexible benefit plans and is an outspoken proponent for HRA and HSA accounts. Tom is a frequent speaker for continuing education courses and staff training, and edits 2 national employee benefits newsletters. He is an active member of Jonesboro United Methodist Church. Tom is married to Renee, a graphic designer and jewelry maker, and has two daughters, Jamie and Kelsey. Both are students at UNC Chapel Hill.
Bill Boggs is a principal at Benefit Services & Design, Inc. serving clients for more than 20 years. His client base represents a vast range of companies, single site to multi-state diverse operational conglomerations. His employment history in management positions transcends public and private entities as well as profit and non-profit organizations. His opinion and advice is frequently sought by the legal and accounting communities. Simple solutions to complex challenges has been his signature consultant style.
